Totaro, Ph.D., Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Catholic Charities of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in religious administration.

With 33 years of professional experience overall, Dr. Totaro has spent the last eight years as the executive director and CEO of Catholic Charities of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg. Drawing on his background in general management and operations, he deftly oversees the agency's $15 million budget and 30 different programs, which encompass education, counseling, adoption, homeless shelters, foster care, homes for unwed mothers, alcohol abuse, and HIV. Additionally, he supervises 300 employees and volunteers across 15 counties. In order to maintain the viability of the agency, he continuously engages in grant writing and fundraising activities.

Dr. Totaro received a Ph.D. in business administration from La Salle University in 1991, following his graduation from the Keller Graduate School of Management with a master's degree in management and finance. The recipient of a 2008 Mount Saint Mary's University Bicentennial Medal, he also acts as a special minister at a regional hospital and a local nursing home, where he talks to patients and gives communion to Catholic patients.
