Deborah Betts Moore-Roberson specializes in giving hope and encouragement to persons most in need

AKRON, OH, August 8, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Deborah Betts Moore-Roberson, MSSA, Supervisor of the Assertive Community Treatment Team at Community Support Services Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in social work.

Ms. Betts Moore-Roberson has 15 years of professional experience, but considers herself to have always been a social worker at heart because of her desire to help others and offer her assistance in any situation possible. For the past six years, she has served as supervisor of the assertive community treatment team at Community Support Services, Inc. The agency aims to enhance quality of life, primarily for persons most in need, by offering first-rate and cost-effective treatment, rehabilitation, advocacy and recovery support. In her position, Ms. Betts Moore-Roberson specializes in giving hope and encouragement to others. She provides staff support, works with treatment teams, oversees crisis interventions and conducts psychotherapy sessions.

A licensed social worker, Ms. Betts Moore-Roberson holds a Master of Science in social services administration from Case Western Reserve University. In 1995, she earned a Bachelor of Science in social work from the University of Akron. In addition to her work with Community Support Services, Inc., she is an associate minister at her local United Baptist Church and a supporter of The Mama Pilista Bonyo Memorial Health Center in Kenya. Ms. Betts Moore-Roberson hopes to continue to work with other concerned people to assist the village of Masara, Kenya and surrounding areas. She also plans to collaborate with her church to establish group homes for veterans and other people in need.
