SAN ANTONIO, TX, July 1, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael C. Key, Prosthodontist, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of dental care.

A 28-year veteran of the dental profession, Michael C. Key specializes in dental implant restoration. He has been managing his own practice in adult dentistry since 1998. His responsibilities include consulting with patients, performing tooth restoration, and treating complex issues including trauma. An international lecturer on prosthetics, Dr. Key was one of only 25 dentists selected to perform dental implant surgery by Dr. Per-Ingvar Brånemark, recognized as the father of modern dental implantology. He considers this honor to be among the highlights of his career and attributes his success to his love for his profession.

In addition to his Doctor of Dental Surgery, Dr. Key is a Certified Dental Specialist in Prosthodontics. He earned a Bachelor of Science in 1971 from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1958 from the University of Tennessee. He is a member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Key gives generously to The Museum of Modern Art and Texas A&M University, and volunteers as director of the Pecan Study Dental Club. He was recognized as "America's Top Specialist" by the Consumers' Research Council of America, as a "Super Dentist in Texas" by Texas Monthly, and as "Top Dentist in San Antonio" by San Antonio Magazine.
