HOMER, Alaska, July 22, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cassandra L. Harrison-Peterson, Managing Member of Horizon Satellite, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in finance management.

Ms. Harrison-Peterson established Horizon Satellite, LLC, with her husband nearly a decade ago. Now serving clients from Homer to South Ninilchik, Alaska, the couple provides an array of fiber-optic-based telecommunication systems and information technology services, including Internet, satellite installation and Internet-based telephone services. Ms. Harrison-Peterson acknowledges that Horizon Satellite is a team effort. Her husband, Leif Peterson, manages hands-on installation services while she utilizes her business savvy to oversee administrative and marketing operations. In addition to supervising daily activity, she manages accounts receivable and payable, builds client relations and generates invoices.

In 2010, Ms. Harrison-Peterson was recognized as a Professional of the Year in Finance Management by Cambridge Who's Who. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. Ms. Harrison-Peterson studied business at the University of Alaska, Anchorage, and Colorado Technical University. Actively involved with a number of charitable organizations, Ms. Harrison-Peterson supports her local veterans' organization, the Firefighters Support Foundation, the Special Olympics and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Her plans for the future include expanding business operations and promoting new, state-of-the-art products. To date, she and her husband own and manage seven towers, for which they possess rights to all contracts.
