Major Ryon F. Adams Included in Distinguished Registry
Major Ryon Adams has dedicated 13 years of service to the U.S. Army

ARLINGTON, VA, May 26, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Major Ryon F. Adams, AfPak Hands Officer for the U.S. Army, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in military service.

As an AfPak Hands officer for the U.S. Army, Major Adams has the important task of accelerating military cultural immersion in Afghanistan. Already fluent in Spanish and English, and conversational in Japanese, he is participating in an intensive Dari language course at the Defense Language Institute in preparation for his deployment. While in Afghanistan, he will be advising the Afghan military on logistical matters.

Major Adams joined the military because of the leadership challenges the organization offered. With hard work, a willingness to learn, and the support of his peers, he was able to achieve great success. Currently celebrating his 13th year of service, he looks forward to obtaining the rank of lieutenant colonel in the future.

Major Adams earned a law degree from the University of Houston, a master's degree in military history from the Command and General Staff College, a master of science in administration from Central Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Science in management from Case Western Reserve University. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and a life member of American MENSA.
