SAN CLEMENTE, CA, May 20, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Roderic McChesney, Retired Dentist, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in dentistry.

Dr. McChesney formerly had his own practice specializing in operative dentistry and experienced great professional success due to his patience and strong listening skills. Following his graduation from the University of Southern California, where he earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery, he established his practice in a minority community and dedicated 30 years to providing exemplary service.

Dr. McChesney also possesses a distinguished military background. He served in the U.S. Navy for five years, during which he completed two tours of duty as an airman, and has been honored with two Distinguished Flying Crosses, four Air Medals, a Philippine Liberation Medal, and a Presidential Unit Citation for his service on the USS Cabot and the USS Belleau. Currently enjoying his retirement from dentistry, he retains membership to Ciclistas Capistrano, a bicycling club, and celebrated his 80th birthday by cycling 80 miles.
