Dr. Anna Bunploog to be Featured in Exclusive Registry
Anna Bunploog received a Director's Award from the Navajo Area Indian Health Service

FRANKLIN PARK, IL, May 19, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anna Bunploog, Pediatrician for Mobile C.A.R.E. Foundation, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in pediatrics.

Growing up, Dr. Bunploog witnessed her mother's tireless efforts as a nurse serving the underprivileged. Inspired to do the same, she became the first member of her family to attain higher education and earned an MD from the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in 2001.

For the past seven years, Dr. Bunploog has been providing excellent comprehensive asthma care as a pediatrician for Mobile C.A.R.E. Foundation., She was honored with a Director's Award from the Navajo Area Indian Health Service in 2007 and received a National Health Service Corps scholarship in 1996. A fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Bunploog serves as an advisory board member of Project CURA, a community study on the effects of community health educators and asthma in the Puerto Rican population in Chicago. She also retains memberships to the Chicago Asthma Consortium and the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved. Finding success through her dedication, Dr. Bunploog plans to continue practicing her basic philosophy of bringing health care to those who need it most, and help expand her organization's services in the years to come.

Mobile C.A.R.E. Foundation is a nonprofit organization providing mobile medical care for children living in the underserved areas of Chicago via "Asthma Vans."
