Richard W. Owen III to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
Richard W. Owen's expertise is in logistics management
FREDERICKSBURG, VA, September 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Richard W. Owen III, Major, United States Marine Corps, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in military and defense.
As a major for the United States Marine Corps, Major Owen attributes his success to the support he receives from his family. His day-to-day responsibilities include being the Director for the Marine Corps Advanced Logistics Operations Course, teaching advanced logistics to senior staff non-commissioned officers, field grade officers, international students, and joint services. His operational experiences include four deployments to include East Timor, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and multiple tours in Iraq. He became involved in his profession following the footsteps of his father, and through his patriotism and passion to serve the nation.
Major Owen is currently pursuing his Master of Arts in Leadership and Management at Webster University. He is a graduate of Marine Corps Officer Candidate School, The Basic School, Logistics Operations School, United States Army Airborne School, Marine Corps Expeditionary Warfare School, and the United States Army Command and General Staff College. In 1998, he received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin State University.
