James B. Snyder Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Ranch Management
James B. Snyder, fourth-generation rancher, takes pride in continuing the ranch his forebears established

ABILENE, TX, September 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- James B. Snyder, Rancher for SNOCO, Ltd., has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Ranch Management. While inclusion in Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only two male and two female members in each discipline are named the Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee chooses these special honorees based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, and leadership abilities.

Descended from an agricultural based family, Jim is proud to have been entrusted with continuing the legacy of SNOCO, the business established by his father. He brings no less than 34 years of experience to his position, having worked in the field from an early age. With experience in cow-calf production, their herd is of an Angus base. Jim acknowledges that he would not have been able to achieve this goal without his wife, Kimberly, whose support has proven invaluable over the years.

Mr. Snyder earned his bachelor of science degree in agricultural business in 1976 from Texas Tech University. He is affiliated with the 33rd Degree Mason Suez Shrine of Shriners International. An active member of his community and participant in charitable work, he is a past lay eucharist minister at his local church.
