Industry Leader Lynn Davies Added to the Cambridge Who's Who Network
Lynn Davies collaborates with aviation industry to enhance safety of in-flight and ground icing operations

SEATTLE, WA, September 8, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lynn Davies, Aeronautical Engineer for The Boeing Company, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership, and excellence in aeronautical engineering to improve aviation safety in winter operations.

Beginning her career as a legal secretary, Ms. Davies quit her job and went back to college at age 25 to pursue a degree in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering. Now an aerodynamics engineer and icing focal for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, she is primarily focused on aviation safety in icing conditions. She addresses airline customer inquiries concerning in-flight and ground icing issues. She is involved in the development of industry standards through her work with the SAE International G-12 Ground Deicing Committee. In addition, she has been a member of industry-wide international working groups responsible for assisting the FAA and foreign airworthiness authorities in the development of new certification and operating regulations for icing conditions.

A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Ms. Davies received a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering in 1991.
