Gail D. Johnson, MBA Honored for Excellence in Business Consulting
Gail D. Johnson Has Decades of Experience with Fortune 500 and 1000 Companies, and High Technology Business Start-ups

TYLER, TX, September 13, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gail D. Johnson, Owner of Solving Business Problems Creatively, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business consulting.

Prompted by the conviction that not enough women were going into business management, Ms. Johnson founded Solving Business Problems Creatively, a business consulting firm. She brings to her position more than three decades of experience as a business manager for Fortune 500 and 1000 companies, including Merrill Lynch, Harris Corporation, Texas Instruments and Anacomp, as well as technology start-ups such as Hannibal Inc., Media DNA and Altris Software. As head of the organization, she conducts workshops across the country, consults with various businesses, and teaches career management strategies courses at the University of Texas.

Also a published author, Ms. Johnson co-wrote "Professionally Brandicapped? Reader/Workbook" and "!WONTUOTEG: Who's Affecting Your Career?" She considers encouraging women to become business managers, through her own example, to be the most gratifying aspect of her work. She attributes her success to being persistent and focusing on the goals that she sets for herself.

Ms. Johnson earned a Master of Business Administration, with honors, from the University of Redlands in 2001 and a Bachelor's Degree, also with honors, from Regis College. She is President-Elect of the Tyler Chapter of AAUW and the National Association of Professional Women. Honors, of which she is a recipient, include a leadership scholarship from National University and an Outstanding Achievement Award from Altris Software. In her spare time, Ms. Johnson volunteers with the UT Tyler, Students In Free Enterprise, $tart $mart Wage Project, and Pollard UMC. She looks forward to embarking on more public speaking engagements.
