Dr. Rahul Kashyap is involved with the American Academy for Emergency Medicine in India
ROCHESTER, MN, September 8, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Rahul Kashyap, Program Manager of the M.E.T.R.I.C.PM (Multidisciplinary Epidemiological and Translational Research in Intensive Care & Perioperative Medicine) Research team at the Mayo Clinic, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in medical research and public relations.
As a program manager for the team, Dr. Kashyap is responsible for ensuring successful and timely completion of the critical Care medicine research projects, productive team work and efficient resource management. Aside from being an active researcher himself, he conducts quality checks and monitors the progress of research projects being conducted by other fellows on the team. Dr. Kashyap entered the field of healthcare because he finds satisfaction in serving humanity. His success issues from his personal philanthropic vision. His work in the fields of Emergency Medicine (EM) and Critical Care is keeping in line with the idea of innovation and cost effective health care delivery impacting patients positively.
In India, Dr. Kashyap received an MBBS from the Madurai Medical College in 2005. After graduating from medical school, he trained as a junior resident in EM at AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) New Delhi, India, a premier medical education and research institution. As the vice president of the Mayo Research Fellows Association (MRFA), he is actively involved in the welfare, academic and cultural activities for Research Fellows at Mayo Clinic. He is also a member of AAEMI (American Academy for Emergency Medicine in India), which has been actively promoting the development of Emergency Medicine, with the goal to improve medical care for the people of India.
