Dr. Michael J. Katz achieved fellowship status with the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons

LAWRENCE, NY, September 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Michael J. Katz, Orthopedic Surgeon, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in orthopedic healthcare.

For the past 25 years, Dr. Katz has been the president of his practice. He is responsible for orthopedic evaluations, and attending trials and legal proceedings. Formerly, Dr. Katz served on the panel for the United States Department of Health and Human Services. He attributes his success to his mentoring skills.

In 1980, Dr. Katz graduated with honors from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he received an MD. Having achieved fellowship status with the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, he is a member of the New York State Society of Orthopedic Surgeons, Inc., the American Fracture Association and the American Medical Association. Dr. Katz has been honored with a Jonas Salk Award and a New York Best Doctor of the Year Award. He is a supporter of the Making Headway Foundation.
