ENGLEWOOD, NJ, August 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gary J. Mason, Assistant General Manager of Hyatt Place, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in hospitality services.
Mr. Mason completed coursework in graphic arts and advertising at New York City Tactical College. After working as a professional photographer he went on to attain a degree and SerSafe certification, in hospitality management at Bergen Community College. Currently he serves as the assistant general manager of Hyatt Place, Fair Lawn N.J. In this position he oversees high-end business clientele, accounts payable, and onsite human resources. He also handles the needs of guest, maintains employee records and trains new employees. In his spare time, he volunteers for a local youth group, and heads a homeless organization at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Englewood, NJ. He attributes his success to his continuous education and colleagues' support. In the future, he intends to open a bed and breakfast.
