With 38 years of professional experience, Dr. Savoy serves as a consultant and the sole proprietor of her business. She delivers clients with basketball coaching and training, and oversees leadership development. She also conducts seminars on coaching, politics and generational differences. A retired head coach for Dalhousie University, Dr. Savoy instructs sports psychology courses at the school. She attributes her success to her hard work, discipline and team management skills.

In 1992, Dr. Savoy received a Ph.D. in Sports Psychology, from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. A certified sport consultant, she is a member of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology and the Coaching Association of Canada. In 2002, she was honored by the Nova Scotia Progress Club with a Woman of Excellence Award. With 858 wins, Dr. Savoy has established a Canadian university basketball record.
