Robert Garrett holds a master's degree in health care administration from Washington University in Saint Louis

With 29 years of professional experience, Mr. Garrett has developed an expertise in strategic development, planning and marketing. As CEO of Hackensack University Medical Center, he oversees the operations of the academic medical center. He is the head of the 775-bed hospital, which is the county's largest employer, following his position of chief operating officer. He attributes his success to his focus on quality, personal relationships and team management skills.

In 1981, Mr. Garrett graduated from Washington University in Saint Louis with a master's degree in health care administration. In his spare time, he is a supporter of the Bergen Community College and the American Diabetes Association. He hopes to help his company become a larger and more effective health care facility.
