Lydia G. McAlister Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Lydia G. McAlister celebrates 25 years as a music teacher of Oklahoma City Public Schools

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, December 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lydia G. McAlister, Music Teacher of Oklahoma City Public Schools, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in music performance, opera and classroom technology.

With 25 years of experience as a music teacher of Oklahoma City Public Schools, Ms. McAlister is responsible for teaching music and vocal instruction to students in kindergarten through high school. She became involved in her profession after performing at a young age, and she attributes her success to her service as a witness for God and the support she received from her parents.

Ms. McAlister received a master's degree in performing arts from Oklahoma City University and a bachelor's degree in music education from Hendrix College. She is a member of the Mu Phi Epsilon.
