Louise P. Ogg Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Louise Ogg is a member of the Genealogy Society of Southern Illinois

TAMMS, IL, December 31, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Louise Ogg, Retired Librarian for the Cairo Public Library, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in library services.

Ms. Ogg has always held a deep regard for history. Recognizing that her personal interests could translate into a career, she became a librarian. At the Cairo Public Library in Illinois, she has devoted 23 years of her professional career to managing library responsibilities. She owes her success to the influence of her father.

Retired at the age of 83, Ms. Ogg continues to contribute her knowledge and skills as a volunteer at the Cairo Custom House Museum, as well as her local church. She maintains her curiosity for her surrounding community and retains affiliations with the Ohio River Scenic Byway, the Genealogy Society of Southern Illinois, and the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She has completed coursework in history, geography and children's literature at Southern Illinois University and Shawnee Community College. Ms. Ogg hopes to continue to have the opportunity share her experience with others in the future.
