Lorraine Ben has won a $213 million contract with the Department of National Defence in Canada

An account executive for the TELUS Communications Company, Ms. Ben has 18 years of experience in her field. She retains an expertise in business development. In her position, she is responsible for managing new business acquisitions, and resolving class networks and information technology matters. She also serves the Department of National Defence in Canada.

In 2007, Ms. Ben was awarded a $213 million contract for telecommunication networks with the defense department. Previously, she worked for Lockheed Martin; she believes that her work history has enabled her to progress within her industry.

Ms. Ben received a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in law from Laurentian University in 1992. A member of the board of directors for the Ottawa chapter of Dress for Success Canada, she is also affiliated with AFCEA International and Leprosy Mission Canada. She is the recipient of Top Sales Person of the Year award from the TELUS Communications Company and a Sales Performer of the Year award from Lockheed Martin.
