Dr. Lawrence Whitehurst has been at CMA Family Physicians for four years

CULPEPER, VA, December 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Lawrence Whitehurst, Family Physician and Owner of CMA Family Physicians, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in health care.

Dr. Whitehurst has 36 years of overall professional experience. At his current post, he is responsible for practicing general family medicine. He earned an MD from the Medical College of Virginia, and is a member of the Medical Society of Virginia and the American Medical Association. He serves as a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine, and also served with the White House Medical Staff. Dr. Whitehurst received an Air Force Legion of Merit, a Meritorious Service Award with Five Oak Leaf Clusters and the Air Medal.
