Dr. Kerri Duncan Honored for Accomplishments in Education
Kerri Duncan, Ed.D., celebrates 10 years of business ownership
SPRINGFIELD, MO, December 1, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Kerri Duncan, Business Owner of the Rivendale Institute of Learning, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in primary education.
Since 2000, Dr. Duncan has owned the Rivendale Institute of Learning, a private school accrediated by the Missouri Department of Education. Her expertise is in autism, a disability she felt was being ignored in schools 10 years ago. As the owner, Dr. Duncan directs the institute, which is for traditional and special needs students. She attributes her success to her hard work and passion for children.
A 2010 graduate of Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Duncan received a doctorate in special education. She is a board certified behavioral analyst and a member of the Learning Disabilities Association of America. In her spare time, she volunteers for Autism Speaks. Dr. Duncan aims to establish additional schools for children with autism throughout the country.
