Yvonne Antinazi Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Yvonne Antinazi celebrates 30 years as a professional dancer
SUWANEE, GA, November 18, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Yvonne Antinazi, Owner and Director of the North Georgia Academy of Dance, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in dance.
Ms. Antinazi has 30 years of professional dance experience. At the age of 18, she became the ballet mistress for the DeKalb Dance Theater, assisting with classes and choreography. Throughout her career as a dancer, she was instructed by Dee Hodges, Chris Cory, Terrell Paulk, Patsy Bromley and the late Tommy Sutton. Ms. Antinazi continues to take classes; she participates in local workshops, and also travels to New York City to study with Luigi, and at the Broadway Dance Center. For the past 19 years, she has been the owner and director of the North Georgia Academy of Dance. Ms. Antinazi specializes in management and is responsible for overseeing the studio, and handling tuition, registration and scheduling issues.
She is the secretary, treasurer and scholarship chairman of Mid-South Chapter 41 for Dance Masters of America, Inc. Ms. Antinazi is also on the production team for the Georgia Junior Miss program, and is a leader of Girl Scouts of the United States of America. She is proud to have had two of her students respectively win 2009 Junior Miss Dance Chapter 41 and the 2010 Georgia Junior Miss Scholastic Scholarship. In her spare time, Ms. Antinazi volunteers at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
