Tanya Arauz Cales Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Tanya Arauz Cales is a graduate of the FBI National Academy
SAVANNAH, GA, November 18, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tanya Arauz Cales, Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in law enforcement.
Ms. Cales has served for five years as an Assistant Special Agent in Charge, and has 20 years of experience working for the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. As an instructor of investigative and medical courses, she is recognized for demonstrating an expertise is in law enforcement. Her responsibilities include supervising state law officers and working in the drug enforcement area.
A graduate of the FBI National Academy, Ms. Cales is pursuing a Doctor of Education from Georgia State University. In 2007, she graduated from Columbus State University receiving a Master of Public Administration with honors. She is a member of the Criminal Justice Honor Society from Columbus State University. She is also a licensed firefighter and emergency medical technician. In 2008, she was the recipient of an Alan Kaplan Life Saving Award from Georgia Bureau of Investigation. In the future Ms. Cales aspires to teach at a university and achieve tenure.
Ms. Cales is an active member of the Junior League of Savannah.
