Salwa H. Soliman manages $259 million in revenue as the financial manager of a state commission

TALLAHASSEE, FL, November 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Salwa H. Soliman, Financial Manager of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in accounting.

With nine years of professional experience, Ms. Soliman is skilled in the development of cost-effective budgets. She is proud to be affiliated with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and is thankful for receiving the opportunity to work as its financial manager. In her position, she manages $259 million in revenue, as well as commission accounting, operational services and budgeting. Ms. Soliman also collects revenue from grants, contracts, fines and an array of other sources. She believes that her success issues from her dedication, passion, and knowledge that she is making a difference in the public sector.

In 1977, Ms. Soliman graduated from the University of Commerce, where she received a bachelor's degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting. She was honored in 2005 by the Department of Environmental Protection with Exceptional Work Performance. In 2009 and 2010, she received 2 more awards from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Outstanding Leadership and Superior Job Award. In her free time, she volunteers within her community and at her local church.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission manages fish and wildlife resources for long-term well-being and sustainability.
