Rhonda Williamson Riley Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Rhonda Williamson Riley celebrates over 10 years in the education field

GRETNA, LA, November 3, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rhonda Williamson Riley, Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired for Plaquemines Parish School Board, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in special education.

With 13 years of professional experience, Ms. Riley teaches braille education to visually impaired students, works with visual modifications, and teaches language arts and mathematics. After working as a special education teacher, she decided to attend workshops and outreach classes to teach visually impaired students. She attributes her success to the support she receives from her children.

Currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Orientation and Mobility at the University of Arkansas, Ms. Riley obtained both her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a certification in special education for grades Kindergarten through 12 from Our Lady of Holy Cross College, in addition to a certification as a teacher of the visually impaired from The University of New Orleans. She is a member of the National Federation for the Blind, the Association for Educational and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired and is currently working on a master's degree in orientation and mobility.
