Michele A. Tetreault Recognized for Excellence in Education
Michele A. Tetreault is a graduate of Central Washington University
YAKIMA, WA, November 18, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michele A. Tetreault, Teacher and Librarian for the Yakima School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.
With 19 years of professional experience, Ms. Tetreault has expertly developed her skill in teaching. On a daily basis, she gives library lessons to students in kindergarten through fifth grade. She instructs students on searching for books via the Internet, as well as the Dewey Decimal System. In addition, she is responsible for ordering books. She attributes her success to the support she receives from her colleagues and students.
In 2007, Ms. Tetreault received a Master of Education from Central Washington University, following the receipt of a Bachelor of Arts in drama and music education. She is a member of the Washington Education Association and the Washington Library Media Association. Ms. Tetreault was featured in Who's Who of American High School Students in 1982. In her free time, she is a cantor at St. Paul's Cathedral and supports the Sons and Daughters of Italy in America. She hopes to earn a national board certification and complete a Ph.D. in education.
