Mercy Babatope Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Mercy Babatope's professional goal is to help cure her patients of depression
CHEVERLY, MD, November 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mercy Babatope, Trainee at Johns Hopkins University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in academics.
At University of Maryland, College Park, Ms. Babatope is a first-year student. She was inspired to pursue her educational endeavors by her desire to serve others; she hopes to eventually help cure depression. For the last year, she has served as a trainee in the school's neurology lab. In this capacity, she is involved with drug testing, specifically of a medication developed to treat depression.
Proud of her time-conscious nature, Ms. Babatope lends her school success to her faith in God. In addition to being recognized with an academic award for soccer, she is affiliated with the National Honor Society. She is also the president of Dramatic Mustangs. Within the next few years, she intends to have earned an undergraduate degree and become enrolled in medical school.
