Melissa Johnson has 20 years of professional experience in a variety of industries.

ARLINGTON, WA, November 11, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- December 17, 2010, Melissa Johnson, Consultant at Microsoft, Broker at Windermere and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Truth & Money International Non-Profit, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business management/communications, realty and helping those in need.

Melissa Johnson is currently a Consultant at Microsoft, a Broker for Windermere, and is taking that next step in globally giving her non-profit called Truth & Money International visibility in 2011. Melissa is responsible for building strong business plans & strategies, effective communication vehicles, keeping to a strong financial model, and executing all business transactions, while also reaching out to those who are struggling to start a business, by providing complimentary advice to successfully get their businesses off the ground. Melissa excels at providing excellent business, financial, customer and client service, negotiating sound business plans & contracts, and providing her expertise for the selling and the purchasing of real estate investments. She is currently working to formalize a very large and long term business contract with a major Northwest Fortune 500 company.

Melissa is an Alumni of Microsoft, but enjoys consulting for them on a part time basis; she also sits as a Committee Member on the Microsoft Alumni Foundation (MSAF) supporting Marketing and Communications efforts. She led the media efforts connecting KING 5 TV and the Microsoft Alumni Foundation, and hosted key executives from KING 5 at this year's Microsoft Alumni Foundation Gala. In 2009, she had the honor of writing the Foundation letter that was read by many Microsoft leaders, and other alumni.

Melissa is also a non-profit owner helping people manage their business and financials, by connecting them to time tested resources. She is a published author of two books on the economy. Both books are on Amazon.com and Barnes & Nobel (God's Economy and the companion book, God's Economy Journal).

Lastly, she is a Court Appointed Special Legal Avocate (V-GAL), for the City of Snohomish County, WA, where she is the voice for children who do not have a voice in and out of our court system.

In 1985, Mrs. Johnson earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Washington. She is a certified real estate broker, accredited staging professional and holds a leadership certification. She is affiliated with the Washington State Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

Mrs. Johnson received the Advocate of the Month Award from Snohomish County, WA for her role in helping children in and out of our courts, and the American Diabetes Association Award for her longtime service in helping to the fight diabetes. She received various "Pride in Excellence" Awards for individual and team improvement and participation when she worked for Boeing, and during her 14 years when she was a Microsoft employee, she was recognized for her strong process improvement contributions. She attributes her success to her predecessors, who served as role models by encouraging her to succeed, as well as her parents, who helped her realize that she can accomplish anything she sets her mind to.
