Marie L. Cearley to be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
Marie Lloyd Cearley celebrates six years as chairman of the English Department at Ingram Independent Schools

KERRVILLE, TX, November 16, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Marie Lloyd Cearley, Chairman of the English Department at Ingram Independent Schools, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in English literature.

With six years of experience as chairman of the English Department at Ingram Independent Schools, Ms. Cearley oversees the English department, holds meetings, acts as a liaison between teachers and administrators, mentors new teachers, and teaches English. Ms. Cearley has taught for 36 years and has been recognized as teacher of the year several times. She is also a founding member of The Guadalupe Stage Quartet, which performs at a theatre production to benefit a scholarship for deserving high school students. When asked about her motivation for entering the field of education, Ms. Cearley cited the inspiration she received from her own former teachers. She attributes her success to her great mentors, passion and dedication.

Ms. Cearley received a master's degree in English from Eastern New Mexico University.
