HOUSTON, TX, November 18, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Linda Kneeland, Front Office Manager and Patient Advocate for the Comprehensive Health Association, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business operations.

With 25 years of professional experience, Mrs. Kneeland has refined her skills in communication and multitasking. She is also able to work well with and manage personnel. On a daily basis, she manages accounts receivable and payable, orders supplies, answers and triages telephone calls, as well as schedules and confirms appointments. Further, Ms. Kneeland maintains medical charts and record requests.

She became involved in her profession because of her desire to help others, which she acquired after overcoming her own obstacles in life. In a house fire, Ms. Kneeland lost her mother and fiance, and became temporarily disabled as a result of her escape out of a 3rd-floor window. This event inspired her to return to school in memoriam. She attributes her success to her determination, dedication and compassion for her patients. The highlight of her career came when she began working as a medical secretary at the New England Rehabilitation Hospital. She was promoted to a management position after mastering every other position within the department.

Ms. Kneeland completed coursework in business administration and health management, following the receipt of an Associate of Arts in hospital management from Northeastern University. She is a greeter at the Mercy Street Church. Ms. Kneeland is a supporter of The Humane Society, the American Cancer Society, Make Animal Abuse a Felony, the Boy Scouts of America, Adventures in Missions, Paralyzed Veterans of America, The Salvation Army, the Shrine Circus Fund, Prevent Abuse Against Children, the Texas State Troopers Association, and Chapelwood Church.
