Lillie M. Williams celebrates 21 years as the president of Deedco Gardens, Inc.

HOMESTEAD, FL, November 16, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Lillie M. Williams, President of Deedco Gardens, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing.

With 21 years of experience as president of Deedco Gardens, Ms. Williams is responsible for overseeing business operations. She attributes her success to the inspiration she received from her high school teachers and Dorothy Graham, who she met in college. She became involved in her profession after taking care of her sick mother when she was 11 years old.

Ms. Williams received a master's degree in behavioral science from Shaw University in 1970 and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 1949. She is a member of the Community Action Agency. She has received a national women's award, and she was honored by the state of Florida by having a boulevard named after her.
