Laurie Albertsson celebrates 10 years as vice president of Fernwood Capital

NORTH TONAWANDA, NY, November 16, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Laurie Albertsson, Vice President of Fernwood Capital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in leasing approvals.

With 10 years of experience as vice president of Fernwood Capital, Ms. Albertsson is responsible for accounting, managing the credit and documentation departments, and assisting clients in capital equipment financing. She became involved in her profession after gaining experience and knowledge in the industry and opening her own company, and she attributes her success to the personal services she provides, as well as her long-standing relationships with her equity partners.

Ms. Albertsson has completed coursework at the Center for Entrepreneurial Leaderships at the University at Buffalo School of Management in 2010, having received a diploma from Depew High School in 1983. She is the president of the National Association of Women Business Owners (which recognized her as Woman Business Owner of the year) and a member of the National Association of Equipment Leasing Brokers, the National Equipment Finance Association, and the Rotary Club of Buffalo (which recognized her with a certificate of appreciation).
