Latisha L. McCormick is certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology

SANFORD, NC, November 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Latisha L. McCormick, Medical Technologist for the Central Carolina Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in health care.

With four years of experience as a medical technologist for the Central Carolina Hospital, Ms. McCormick has become knowledgeable in an array of areas. In her position, she performs blood tests on patients and sends the results to doctors. In addition, she works in many different departments, including hematology, the blood bank, chemistry, urinalysis and microbiology. Drive to enter her profession by her interest in health care, she attributes her success to her education.

In 2009, Ms. McCormick became a certified medical technologist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology. She was honored by Winston-Salem State University with an Outstanding Leadership Certificate of Merit. In her spare time, she volunteers at her local church and supports the Christian Broadcast Network. In the near future, Ms. McCormick aims to complete a master's degree in clinical research and pursue a doctoral degree.
