Evalina Burger showcases professionalism in the field of clinical care
AURORA, CO, November 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Evalina Burger, Associate Professor and Vice Chair of the School of Medicine at the University of Colorado, Denver, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in clinical care.
With 17 years of professional experience, Dr. Burger has retained an expertise in spinal surgery. As the vice chair of the department of orthopedics, she is responsible for overseeing finances, recruitment and appointments, as well as caring for patients with complex spinal disorders. She attributes her success to her hard work and the experience she gained in the military.
A graduate of the University of Pretoria in South Africa, Dr. Burger retains numerous professional affiliations, including SRS, NASS and AAOS. She has been recognized by the International Meeting of Advanced Spiral Technologies in 2010 with the White-Cloud Award for Research. She is also a PTA volunteer. In the future, Dr. Burger hopes to grow professionally.
