LIVINGSTON, MT, November 24, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anita J. Brawner, Chief Executive Officer of Brawner Ranch Co., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in raising cattle.

Ms. Brawner has 36 years of professional experience and an expertise in teaching. After marrying her husband in 1955, she began working at Brawner Ranch Co. as the company's secretary and treasurer. During that time, she was also a teacher of general education for kindergarten through eighth grade. In the fall of 2009, Ms. Brawner was named chief executive officer of Brawner Ranch Co.. In her position, she oversees the daily operations of the company's properties in Montana and Nebraska, collaborates with property managers, and handles all bookkeeping and paperwork.

Ms. Brawner works hard to keep agriculture viable for our country and attends symposiums on the subject, including Women Stepping Forward to Agriculture. She is an advocate for the equality of women in education and all other societal areas, and has taken two professional education trips with the People to People Ambassadors Program. She attributes her success to her determination, stubbornness and good sense of humor.

Ms. Brawner has done graduate studies in guidance and counseling, and a bachelor's degree in education. She is the secretary and treasurer of the Park City Farm Bureau and a member of the Montana Cattlewomen's state parliament. Ms. Brawner is also affiliated with Delta Kappa Gamma and AAUW. In the future, she hopes to keep agriculture viable and work towards equality for women in education and other areas.
