KATONAH, NY, November 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Allison J. Bell, Psy.D. PC, Mediator, Coach Facilitator and Child Specialist, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in psychology.

With 23 years of professional experience, Dr. Bell attributes her success to the inspiration she received by her parents; her father was an osteopathic physician and her mother was a psychiatric social worker. At her current post, she is in charge of counseling, conducting marital therapy and neuropsychological evaluations of children and mediation. She specializes in child psychology. She has also performed forensic custody evaluations in both Family and Supreme courts in the State of New York.

Dr. Bell received a Doctor of Psychology in clinical psychology in 1986 from Yeshiva University. In 1978, she received a Master of Science in dance therapy from Hunter College. She received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Stony Brook University. A charter member of the New York State Psychological Association, she serves as the vice chairwoman of the Executive Committee of the Hudson Valley Collaborative Divorce and Dispute Resolution Association, and is Vice-chairwoman of the Protocols Committee of The New York Association of Collaborative Professionals.
