Thomas Aspinwall's extensive experience enables him to thrive as Vice President of Operations for Alstom Transport
NAPERVILLE, IL, October 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Thomas Aspinwall, Vice President of Operations for Alstom Transport's Train Life Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in operations management.
Thomas Aspinwall has served as Vice President of Operations since 2006, and has been with the company for a total of 10 years. Currently, he is responsible for overseeing all five Alstom Transport sites in the United States, managing a team of 15, developing strategies, and managing sales and engineering. He became involved in his profession through experience gained working with the Royal Air Force, and he attributes his success to his passion for his profession.
Mr. Aspinwall received Certification in Aeronautical Engineering in 1995. He is an advisor for the Institute for Production Management and a member of the Institute for Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and the Royal Aeronautical Society. Inrecognition of his accomplishments, he received the Most Valuable Professional Award from the Locomotive Maintenance Officers Association in 2005, and the Silver Award for Innovation from BAE Systems in 1999.
