Mr. Langbein has 38 years of experience leading major commercial and government information technology systems integration program offices and telecommunications organizations worldwide. His responsibilities at Computer Sciences Corporation include analyzing and planning program strategy and overseeing program and project startups and turnarounds. He also manages budgets, telecommunications operations, software application development, client relations and profit and loss. Prior to his current position, he worked for multiple companies in the fields of telecommunications acquisition and delivery of IT programs to gain managerial experience.

In 2006, Mr. Langbein earned a Master of Science in project management from The George Washington University. He earned a Master of Business Administration in 1980 from the University of Puget Sound. A Project Management Professional (PMP), he is a Certified Business Manager (CBM) and completed RFP Training at Shipley Associates;

Mr. Langbein is the president of the Doral Homeowners Association and is a member of the Washington D.C. and the Silver Spring Chapter of the Project Management Institute, Inc. Additionally, he is affiliated with the Army Navy Country Club.

Mr. Langbein received the Defense Meritorious Service Medal with Four Oak Leaf Clusters and the Joint Service Achievement Medal from the United States Department of Defense. He received the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Service Ribbon and the Overseas Service Ribbon from the United States Armed Forces.
