SCARSDALE, NY, October 4, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- David J. Berry, Chief Information Officer of Coty Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in his career.

Mr. Berry has more than 30 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry. He is the former Chief Information Officer of Coty Inc, the world's largest fragrance manufacturer, where he spent 12 years leading the global Information Technology organization of 250 professionals spanning 28 countries. During his tenure, 11 years of which were spent living in the Netherlands, he managed the information management aspect of mergers and acquisitions, implemented a single instance of SAP ERP in 17 countries and 5 languages, implemented global business intelligence, consolidated global infrastructure, and lead the process to implement the euro in the euro-zone countries. Previously, Mr. Berry worked for Diageo pIc in a number of operating companies including Haagen-Dazs, GrandMet Foods Europe (Paris), and Burger King Corporation; The Dannon Company and Pepsico.

He is a 1982 graduate of Pace University and is a member of the CIO Executive Council and the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce. He has received several professional awards including the CIO 100 in 2007, Best ROI from Information Builders, and Silver and Gold Awards from West Trax in Germany. He has been published in numerous publications in the United States and Europe.
