Lynn Oliva Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Community Service
Mrs. Oliva's love for mankind previously spurred her to work for Rotary International for 26 years.
Oak Brook, IL, March 27, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lynn Oliva, retired departmental assistant for Lions Clubs International, the world's largest volunteer service organization, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in community enrichment.
Mrs. Oliva was the recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award from Lions Clubs International's vice president for her many years of dedication and volunteer work. Her love for mankind previously spurred her to work for Rotary International for 26 years, where she was devoted to the organization's stated purpose: to bring together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Mrs. Oliva earned an Associate of Applied Science in Business Management degree from Morton College. She attributes her success and longevity in the volunteer and community service industries to her tenacity.
